Perilla frutescens var. crispa, also known by its Japanese name shiso (紫蘇), is a cultigen of Perilla frutescens, a herb in the mint family Lamiaceae. Hunter and his talented crew at Locals Raw Bar on Ladys Island have concocted (or is it concocktailed?) another refreshing Summer drink, this time using New Leaf Produce Shiso!
